Governor Signs Bill Legalizing Medical Marijuana In The U.S. Virgin Islands Legalizing Medical cannabis on the Caribbean Islands that are U.S. territories.
“I have approved the Virgin Islands Medicinal Cannabis Care Act because it is a step in the right direction toward assisting Virgin Islanders suffering from autoimmune and other debilitating medical conditions,” newly sworn-in Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. (D) said in a press release.
The Patient Care Act allows patients to use medical marijuana for several debilitating conditions. They will be able to obtain the medical marijuana from dispensaries that will be allowed to sell it legally.
